I recently purchased this plate for a friend that lost her mother. Unbeknownst to me, cardinals or “Redbirds” as her mother called them, were her favorite bird and my friend and her mother always watched for them in the yard. My friend was so touched by receiving the plate and the story that goes along with it. I am so happy that I could do this for her during this difficult time.
