Cambodian Khmer temple bells like these were hung at the Buddhist temple entrance. Worshippers arriving for a blessing would ring the bell to tell the local deity of their arrival to be blessed. The sound made by the bronze bells are rich and clear. Truly a piece of history. No two are alike. Mounted on an iron stand.
