Epicreation + Decoration: Easter Brunch

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail, hopping down the bunny trail, hippoty, hoppity, Easter's on its way! Flowers are blooming, the days started getting longer, and before we knew it Easter snuck up on us faster than ever! Like some of you, we may not have planned out our Easter brunch plans in detail yet so here are our favorite brunch recipes to suggest the perfectly balanced Easter brunch.

What I love about brunch is the relaxed, slower pace to eating, drinking, and nibbling a bit of this and a bit of that over conversation. Take advantage of the gourmet grazing style of dining and offer breakfast hors d'oeuvres and appetizers in addition to salads and mains to enjoy even more time with your besties and family while sipping on champagne.

Gourmet Easter Brunch Recipes

MIMOSA BAR

For a fun twist to your standard brunch mimosas, these Grapefruit Mimosas give an extra dose of citrus freshness and aren't too sweet. For a great serving tip set up a mimosa bar with bottles of bubbles in ice buckets and offer guests an array of fresh juices including orange, pineapple and grapefruit juice and peach nectar served in stylish carafes and a bottle chambord for some fun options. Fresh berries and a few sprigs of thyme are also great additions to offer!  Try out some gold champagne flutes in lieu of the classic standards for a fun dose of glam.

BREAKFAST APPETIZERS

Nothing reminds me more of easter than Deviled Eggs and these Deviled Quail Eggs with Caviar turn the gourmet volume up majorly on a Easter classic. The decadent small bites are a great way to start off your Easter brunch. SERVING STYLE:: Serve them a beautiful cake plate or tray such as these.

GETTING EGGY WITH IT: CLASSIC EGG DISHES

Without eggs in the menu, it's just lunch. We love the classic eggs benedict as featured in our ideal menu above, but it's just as appropriate to go with an easier make ahead option such as a quiche or frittata for easy service. Let the host or hostess enjoy more quality time with friends and family during the brunch instead of the kitchen.

GO GREEN: BRUNCH SALADS

I love offering salads with brunch! With so much rich and delicious savory dishes, offering a refreshing green salad is always a great balance. Arugula with peach (when in season), caprese, or this delicious recipe including grilled asparagus and a poached egg. Check out these salad bowl serving sets include this, this and this one!
